Europe has it all!
Culture, history, incredible regional cuisine, wine, wine and more wine! But did you know that Europe has some of the most amazing beaches? And not only in the Mediterranean, but also in Ireland, and Southern England! Of course, you can’t really experience it all at once and so we will break out the major tourist and cruise destinations by region. There are 4 main regions that are broken out as follows:
Mediterranean – A big area that can be broken out to Eastern and Western Med. In the West, you'll find Spain (think Barcelona and Seville), France (visit Nice and Marseilles), Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice) and islands like Sardinia, Sicily and Palma de Mallorca. In the East, you'll find Croatia (Dubrovnik, and Split) Greece (Historic Athens and the famous Greek Isles like Mykonos and Santorini) and even Israel and Egypt on certain itineraries. And finally, after several years, Turkey and Istanbul are making a resurgence.
Atlantic Coast and UK – Portugal, North Spain and Northern France combine with Ireland, Scotland and England in a wide array of exciting itineraries. If you fancy seeing Mount St. Michel, Stonehenge, and the Cliffs of Mohr all on one trip, consider a cruise to this region.
Northern Europe – This region offers Scandinavian Capitals like Stockholm, Denmark and Helsinki, with extended visits to St Petersburgh in Russia and even great Dutch destinations like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Do you like hidden treasures – you will love Estonia! For those who love the natural beauty of the world, a visit through the fjords of Norway all the way north of the Arctic Circle will blow your mind!
Central Europe – Europe’s Grand Capitals – Vienna, Budapest, Paris and Amsterdam are best scene from the great rivers – the Danube, the Rhine, and the Seine. For lovers of great food and wine, a visit to the Wine regions of France, Germany and Austria along the Rhone, the Moselle, and the Danube will leave you aching to return to sample the next year's vintage!
